Insta ropes in Pankaj Sharma as Vice-President, Design

Insta Worldwide has appointed Mr. Pankaj Sharma as Vice President, Design. He will be joining the Gurgaon office of Insta and would be responsible for leading the design portfolio with key priorities under our smart-products vertical. His role not only includes incremental innovation in our day to day project deliveries but also bring innovation in our product behaviour and product functionality. He would also be responsible for bringing in the strong design culture in the organisation, implement best practises of design industry, processes and system level initiatives to meet organisation's goal.

With a masters in Industrial design from IIT Delhi and a career spanning over 14 years, Pankaj brings with him a rich and varied experience in multiple roles of Product Design, Packaging Design & Brand development, NPD-Conceptual Product Engineering & Innovation across domains like Automotive Studio Surfacing, FMCG, Home Products and Experience Design through Environment & public spaces . He joins Insta Group from Tata Elxsi's design division where his initiative into competing, developing and growing highly niche technology of automotive studio called Class A Surface definition has been significant in Indian automotive industry today. He has initiated & developed design delivery centre for product design at Delhi and helped company penetrate its offering of Signage and Space Design into north region of India. Through his contribution on various projects and design pitching, he has been associated with multiple brands in automotive, FMCG and other Home products.

Prior to this, Pankaj worked at PDC Dearborn Studio - Ford Motor Company – USA and in LandRover at Gaydon Studio in UK.
