HP today unveiled the new HP TouchSmart 610 All-in-One PC that promises to make touch interaction more comfortable and ergonomic for PC users. The HP TouchSmart 610’s revolutionary design features a display that can recline up to 30 degrees offering great flexibility and comfort to users. This also makes the HP TouchSmart 610 the perfect choice for individuals to keep on the kitchen counter, in their home office, or wherever the family gathers.

The new HP TouchSmart 610 offers the best PC touch experience with the latest TouchSmart software that makes the interaction more accurate and responsive. Consumers can pinch, rotate, arc, flick, press, and drag items on their desktop with multi-touch gestures.

The TouchSmart610 Consumer PC features a 23-inch (57.5 cms) diagonal high-definition (HD) display. From creating art projects, to playing games, to enabling natural front-desk interaction where eye contact is important, the new HP TouchSmart PC offers consumers increased range of motion, superior viewing and an intuitive touch experience.

The wide-angle, LED backlit LCD screen provides optimal viewing angles, even when reclined, while advanced multi-touch technology allows for an accurate response.

The TouchSmart PCs’ simple one-cord setup and slim, all-in-one design save space and allow them to fit into any room. For a clean and uncluttered appearance, control features are conveniently located to the right and left sides of the display.

The TouchSmart610 also features the new HP LinkUp application, which allows users to wirelessly link a notebook PC to the TouchSmart using a home network. Accessing and viewing applications, files and content from a notebook on the TouchSmart’s large HD screen creates a more comfortable and productive experience. Changes are saved directly to the notebook so there are no file transfer hassles.

With its refined industrial design and the latest version of HP TouchSmart software, the TouchSmart610 Consumer PC has touch- optimized applications from Facebook, Twitter, as well as HP‘s exclusive RecipeBox, webcam and music applications where users can add new applications via the TouchSmart Apps Center.

The TouchSmart610 also features Beats Audio™. A high-performance technology developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre™, Beats Audio allows listeners to “hear music the way the artist intended it”
