Holiday seekers looking to go someplace new and exciting for Diwali are in luck. The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel is offering a Diwali Package exclusively for residents of India arriving between October 9 and November 30, 2011.

The promotional package includes all of the important elements of a holiday tour – accommodation, meals, transportation, shopping, entertainment, and sightseeing.

Two nights of accommodation for two are provided with a lavish Royale Suite at The Venetian Macao – the luxurious resort which famously features the world’s largest casino, with a massive gaming space of well over 50,000 square meters. For dining, guests can choose to enjoy either breakfast for two at Café Deco or Fogo Samba, or a buffet lunch at Bambu.

The package also includes complimentary one-way CotaiJet Cotai Class ferry tickets for two from Macao to Hong Kong, for those looking for a quick getaway to the nearby cosmopolitan metropolis. And guests will enjoy receiving MOP 400 (Rs 2,300) worth of Rewards Dollars to help them get started with shopping, dining and entertainment.

Finally, the package features a half-day Discovery Tour of Macao, which includes lunch in the delightful Indian restaurant, Aruna. With over 400 years of Sino-Portuguese history, Macao’s heritage is rich with a blend of Eastern and Western culture, as is demonstrated by its population, architecture, and cuisine. And in more recent times, this “Asian Monte Carlo” and “Las Vegas of the East” has since grown to become the undisputed giant of the world’s casino industry. With such a diverse history and culture, Macao holds its own as one of the world’s most interesting places to experience and discover – a fact that has not escaped the attention of ever-increasingly large numbers of Indian travelers, with almost 170,000 visiting Macao in 2010.

For those looking to extend their stay in this unique destination, a third night’s stay at The Venetian Macao comes with an additional MOP 200 in Rewards Dollars and a free upgrade to the magnificent vistas of a Cotai View Suite.

Rates start at HK$3,696 (≈ Rs 22,000) per couple for two nights. Children’s rates start at HK$200 (≈ Rs 1,200) per child, for up to two children, and include breakfast or lunch, ferry tickets and the Discovery Tour with Indian lunch. Bookings can be made starting September 19 via travel agent or by contacting The Venetian Macao – by phone at 000800 100 7951 (India) / +853 2882 8843 (Macao), or by emailing to room.reservations@venetian.com.mo.
