HMT introduces new tractor called Yuva

HMT Limited, the leader in heavy industries is today revolutionizing the Indian farming by introducing the country’s lowest priced tractor ‘Yuva’. The 25 HP Yuva is affordably priced at Rs. 1, 85, 000/- and comes with unique features, mechanizing the Indian way of farming.

Yuva has a twin cylinder water cooled engine and a front open single piece bonnet for ease of servicing. The front bumper gives safety. It has a single piece axle in the front and also mounted there is a hydraulic pump for easy maintenance. It has a totally sealed M.T. Housing for no leakage. Yuva has a hydraulic system with built in circuit for tipper trolley and a single dry clutch for tractor and PTO shaft. Highly fuel efficient Yuva gives 1.75m litre per hour on road and 2.25 liter per hour in the field.

HMT tractors are designed so as to enable the user to fit the tractor with specialized farm equipment such as hydrodozer, rotavetor, combine harvestor and lifting equipment to name a few. At present, HMT manufactures tractors in 25, 35, 40, 65 and 75 HP range. HMT also manufacturers specialized versions for particular soil conditions like the coastal special and the orchard special. HMT tractors are backed by engineering and technology developed by its machine tool plants.
