TUI Travel India, a part of Europe's largest travel company, TUI Travel, has appointed Raja Natesan as its chief operating officer. As the COO, Raja would be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth and optimise operational efficiency and profitability of the company in the country.
Speaking on the appointment, Arjun Sharma, managing director of Le Passage to India said, "Raja brings in immense industry expertise and a strong track record of delivering growth and profitability. Under his capable leadership we will further scale up operations in India and strengthen our brand presence."
Raja Natesan is a travel industry veteran with over twenty years of travel experience. Prior to joining TUI, Raja was the COO at Yatra.com. In the past, he has held numerous leadership roles and built a distinguished track record of handling many travel technology companies. He has served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Interglobe Technology Quotient, President and CEO of Galileo India, and was also the Regional Manager South East Asia at Kingfisher Airlines.

An engineering graduate from BITS Pilani and a postgraduate from IIM Bangalore, Raja is also a visiting faculty at the Indian School of Business – Hyderabad and a guest faculty at IIM- Bangalore.
