Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia 2012 invites Jagran Solutions COO Pawan Bansal to be a part of their jury

The Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA), has invited Pawan Bansal, COO of Jagran Solutions, to be a part of the Pan Asia judging panel with a mandate of judging the PMAA 2012 entries.

PMAA recognises the best in the promotion marketing industry, throughout Asia. It is Asia's leading Promotion Marketing Award Program which sees participation from over 13 countries in Asia. All Gold, Silver and Bronze PMAA Dragons will represent Asia at the MAA Globes. For more than 40 years, the Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide (MAA Worldwide) has been the voice and authority of the Promotion Marketing Industry, spanning across the Globe. The MAA 'GLOBES' is the only global Program which recognizes the distinguished excellence of the Best in Promotion Marketing Award Program from Europe, North America, South America, South Africa, Australia and Asia.

The 2012 PMAA winners will be announced at Kuala Lumpur in late July. Last year India bagged 55 awards. Seven gold Dragons were won by Indian agencies. Three went to Mudra Max, two to Jagran Solutions and one each to Hungama Digital Media Entertainment and Bates 141.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Bansal, said, "It is a great honour to be selected as a jury member of PMAA. This is an excellent platform that recognizes the best of creativity & effectiveness in the business of promotional marketing all over Asia. Year after Year PMAA has helped raise the bar for promotional campaigns & I look forward to some very exciting work in this season."

Bansal has over 18 years of experience holding key positions in leading marketing companies. He is is the Chief Operating Officer for Jagran Solutions (a unit of JPL) and also lead the group's OOH division: Jagran Engage.
