Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that nationally operates its telecom services under the MTS brand with over 16 million wireless customers has associated with the mega singing realty show “Indian Idol” to provide once in a lifetime opportunity to budding talents wanting to become an Indian Idol through an exclusive MTS GOLDEN WEEK opportunity. All budding singers who missed the regular audition round ending 2nd May, 2012 can now directly enter the contest by registering during the MTS Golden Week from 8th to 14th May, 2012.

According to Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer, MTS India said “MTS Golden Week initiative truly aligns with our brand value of an enabler that provides the life changing opportunities. The initiative will empower the aspiring singers by opening closed doors and giving them a big break into the musical world through our network of over select 340 MTS Retail stores across the country. MTS and Indian Idol have joined hands to promote and nurture the flair for music in these aspirants. We hope that all the participants will grab this opportunity and will make the most of it.”

Registration Process for MTS Golden Week - 8th to 14th May, 2012

• Aspirants just need to visit any of the select 340 MTS Retail Stores across 65 cities to register their participation by uploading the video recording of their song via MBlaze.

• Additionally existing MBlaze users can also register their participation by uploading the video recording of their song using MBlaze.

• Adding to the excitement, MBlaze users will also be able to play the role of a facilitator for their friends, family, colleagues and neighborhood aspirants too.

A total of 340 select MTS Retail Stores across 65 cities will facilitate aspirants to register their participation for the contest. Post registration, all shortlisted will be asked to come to Mumbai on 19th May, 2012 for primary audition round. Selection criteria for further rounds will be as per Indian Idol guidelines.
