Yes Bank makes International Travel Easy

Yes Bank, India’s fourth largest private sector Bank, has launched International Prepaid Travel Card, targeted at the overseas traveler. The YES Travel Card enables the discerning traveler to now explore new destinations without the hassle of carrying currency or traveler’s cheques. A US Dollar denominated card, YES Travel card offers traveler’s convenience to transact via ATMs, Net Banking, Merchants in the local currency and is loaded with US Dollars in India. Additionally, the card also comes with a personalized security code (ATM PIN) that insulates the traveler in case of theft / loss while overseas.

To make this product accessible to everyone, the YES Travel Card has been made customer agnostic. Therefore any individual can walk into a Yes Bank branch to purchase this card, even if he does not have an account with Yes Bank.

Commenting on the offering, Chitra Pandeya, Sr. President and Country Head, Savings Liabilities Management, Cards and Direct Banking, said, “The number of Indians travelling abroad is seeing a 10% y-o-y growth, resulting in an increased demand for products which enable cashless transactions. The YES Travel Card adds to our prepaid product suite and will be an effective offering for our retail as well as corporate customers. With increasing disposable incomes and attractive international travel packages, we expect the demand for such products to grow exponentially. We will soon be launching prepaid card in other important currencies as well.

Yes Bank recently also launched a prepaid payroll card offered to Corporates for enabling salary/regular reimbursement payouts to their low cost employees.
