On the occasion of Durga Puja, Nihar Naturals, one of the leading brands in Eastern India, has created a unique theatre production called Ebaar Durga Ki Korbe?- Nihar Naturals er arghya protyek naarir bheetore Durga ke (What will Durga do now?- Nihar Naturals' tribute to the Durga inside every woman). Written and directed by the acclaimed Suman Mukhopadhyay, the play will infuse the acting talents of Bengal's acclaimed artists- Hiraan and Payel Sarkar, and the musical talents of Tanmoy Bose. Nihar Naturals will revive Patochitra, the ancient storytelling art of Bengal to present a modern- day rendition of Goddess Durga's life in popular Pandals in Kolkata across all four days of Durga Puja.

As women have moved on the path of modern progress, they have faced various life-changing decisions with strength, confidence and charisma. In an interesting contrast, Ebaar Durga Ki Korbe? will employ the traditional medium of Patochitra to celebrate the different roles played by progressive women in today's modern times.

After working on a host of award-winning productions ranging from European drama to major adaptations of Bengali masterpieces, Suman Mukhopadhyay has joined hands with Nihar Naturals to create this unique play. Talking about the thought behind the production, Suman said, "On this auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, Nihar Naturals has brought together Bengal's creative fraternity for a unique project- Ebaar Durga Ki Korbe? The play explores the way today's progressive women tackle the dualities of difficult decisions in their everyday lives, and overcome their vulnerabilities to choose what they truly believe in. It is Nihar Naturals' tribute to the Durga inside every woman, depicting the progressive manner in which they lead their lives. What makes it even more special is its revival of the art of Patochitra, a unique, versatile art form that successfully expresses the sentiments of the production."

Payel Sarkar, the female lead, shared her sentiments on the project, "We are very pleased to be associated with Nihar Naturals on Ebaar Durga Ki Korbe? Being a woman, I feel the emotion driving the production is very valuable and genuine, and the sentiment will be appreciated as it depicts the realities and vulnerabilities that they have faced and come out of.
