PVR launches eight screen multiplex at Mumbai, Kurla

PVR Ltd., the leading entertainment company in India, today announced the launch of its eight screen multiplex at Kurla, Mumbai. With reaching a mark of 200 screens and celebrating its 15 years of existence, PVR ECX (Kurla) is the big brand-promise that Mumbaikars would experience with the launch of Enhanced Cinema Experience (ECX) & first-ever Gold class.

Having identified Maharashtra as an important market as part for the company’s aggressive growth strategy, PVR today reached a mark of 10 multiplexes with 56 screens in six key cities of Maharashtra. In addition to this, PVR today stands at 205 screens in 45 cinemas in 12 states, 1 Union territory & 27 cities across India. Having understood the market of Mumbai and each aspect of cinema viewing and experience, PVR (ECX) will introduce the next level of cinema experience - complete navigation programming, advanced technology and state- of- art , elaborate food and beverages formats by team of Chefs at Café ‘in non-ticketed area, specialized kiosks, candy and the first-ever gold-class auditorium .

With this launch, the film connoisseurs will be able to discover clearly brilliant sounds and images on a colossal wall-to-wall screen. This multiplex will go beyond the imagination by 7.1 Dolby Digital, 2K to 4K projection with 3D enabled screens on JBL speakers systems. This cinema will also have PVR’s first-ever Gold class in Mumbai, prime class, and reclining seats, personalized and freshly-made menu and lounge areas for the comfort of audience. Spread across an area of 60,000 sq. ft. and capacity of 1518 seats, the property will provide an ultimate cinema viewing experience to the movie lovers.
