GNMV launches Integrated 'Startup Program 2013-14'

Gemini New Media Ventures today announced the launch of their module based startup certification program for entrepreneurs in India. The program in itself will act as a guide, mentor and sounding board for the entrepreneurs as they build the foundations of their businesses.

The modules are spanned over a period of 3 months and 6 months, basis the requirement and preference of the startup. The program is a combination of infrastructure and mentorship support. The centre is situated in Chembur over an area of 6400 sq.ft. in a new age glass façade building. The designer office has a capacity to seat 50 entrepreneurs along with providing them with internet, office assistance services and multiple breakout areas. The facility also has a 20 seat conference room facility.

Each startup, enrolled for the program, will be conditioned by a mentor and pathfinders to finally present before a VC Bench. The mentors are the hands on industry experts who are closely associated with the startups as they move through the module. The pathfinders are veterans from various fields who would come in an advisory role. The VC Bench would compromise of selected VCs who would be looking at the startups from an investment point of view. On successful completion of the module, each startup receives a certification from GNMV. Each module has a nominal registration fees.
