Oak's Management Consultancy Pvt Ltd. presents the first of its kind sports event - SMIT 2014

This Sunday, the 13th of April 2014 OMCPL (Oak’s Management Consultancy Pvt Ltd) presents the first of its kind sports event. SMIT 2014 i.e. the South Mumbai Interclub Triathlon will see members from premier South Mumbai Club including the Cricket Club of India, The National Sports Club of India, The Malabar Hill Club, The Wellington Club & The Radio Club compete across three disciplines’ namely Cycling, Swimming and Running in a relay format with the winning team taking home the prestigious Spirit of CCI Trophy. While the Swimming leg of the Triathlon is slated to be held in the CCI pool, the Running and Cycling Leg will be held under floodlights at the Braborne Stadium.

This event will be followed by A Gala Award night which will feature Shibani Kashyap live in performance. While entry for both participation as well as the post event awards is open only to members of the participating clubs, it is for the first time that such a large scale collaborative engagement event is being planned for South Mumbai Clubs.

Kinjal Makwana, GM stated ‘ It is a very proud moment for us to be associated with SMIT’2014 in its 5th year. SMIT 2014 is a one of a kind unique outdoor Club activity, having triathletes come and participate in three different disciplines; it’s a great moment for my team and me to be associated with the top clubs of South Mumbai. Planning and watching the idea grow and reach out to all the members is an overwhelming feeling.

So much so that this event has been planned with meticulous precision with a lot of emphasis on marketing and pre event engagement to ensure not only adequate participants’ but also the correct mix of supporters’ are a part of it.
