Racold Thermo Ltd – leader in manufacturing and marketing water heating products, has bagged Bronze at the most celebrated Goa Fest 2014 for ‘Switch2Green’, its innovative PR campaign on energy conservation. The campaign won in the ‘Corporate’ category among the 11 categories shortlisted for the final awards.
Abbys for PR, introduced for the first time this year at the Goa Fest 2014, recognized the remarkable work demonstrated by the PR industry. The awards included 11 categories, namely; Food, Consumer goods, Luxury goods, Automotive, Financial Services, Travel entertainment and Leisure, Corporate, Public Service, Experiential PR, Celebrity endorsement and integrated campaign led by PR.
‘Switch2Green’ campaign, an initiative by Racold Thermo in association with Green Energy Foundation, was an energy conservation contest held among 50 housing societies in Pune. With detailed workshops and awareness campaigns conducted in the course of the campaign, the participating societies saved around 48,582 units of energy in 6 months! To encourage maximum participation, the winning societies were presented with cash rewards.
