P. Ganesh, CFO, Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) will take charge as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for Godrej Industries limited (GIL).

V Srinivasan, Executive Director of Godrej Properties limited (GPL) will move to GCPL as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary and will step down from the GPL Board of Directors.

Mohit Malhotra, who currently heads the Business Development function and the NCR region for Godrej Properties, will be inducted as an Executive Director on the Board of Directors of the company.

All these changes will take effect from 1st April, 2015.

V. Srinivasan

A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Srinivasan has completed middle and senior management courses at IIM, Ahmedabad and the University of Michigan, respectively. He is currently Executive Director, Godrej Properties and oversees the Finance, Capital Strategy, IT and Legal functions of the company. At Godrej Properties, Srini has played a critical leadership role and has been a key part of the company’s growth and success. In his 25 years at Godrej, Srinivasan has played various roles. Early in his career, Srini was involved with the Godrej Soaps IPO, the Transelektra acquisition and the reverse merger of GGICL into GSL. His first leadership role came when he took over as Head of Finance and IT for Godrej Agrovet. He also played a key role in implementing Economic Value Added (EVA) at Godrej Agrovet when the Godrej Group adopted EVA as a performance management and evaluation metric. He then moved to Godrej Industries as CFO post the demerger of the consumer products business, where he worked on a number of strategic cost savings and profit improvement projects for the Oleochemicals business, as also treasury and forex management for the company. At Godrej Industries, he was directly involved in various capital raising plans.

P. Ganesh

P Ganesh is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary. He is currently heading the finance and secretarial functions at Godrej Consumer Products Limited. He has over two decades of industry experience during which he has played various roles in the areas of functional finance, secretarial, company law, corporate planning and investor relations. He has been associated with the demerger of the erstwhile Godrej Soaps Limited, the implementation of the EVA framework in Godrej Consumer Products and has played a key role in GCPL’s overseas acquisitions in Asia, Latin America and Africa. His first rounded finance role came with an overseas stint when he took over as the Head of Finance and Company Secretary of GCPL’s UK business. As GCPL’s CFO and Company Secretary, he has been closely associated with the diligence process as well as setting up of reporting systems and controls at the company’s acquisitions in Asia, Latin America and Africa and has been instrumental in capital raising through low cost overseas borrowings, structured products, QIP and Preferential issue placements.

Mohit Malhotra

An MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Mohit also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently Executive Vice President, Business Development, India, and Business Head, North, at Godrej Properties. Mohit joined GPL nearly 5 years ago and has since consistently been an outstanding performer. He has greatly strengthened Godrej Properties’ business development capabilities and the company today stands in a much stronger position as a result of the high quality new projects that it has added over the past few years. His performance in leading Godrej Properties’ operations in NCR has also been exemplary. Prior to joining Godrej, Mohit has worked in private equity, real estate development, management consulting and FMCG.
