Delhi’s Sir Shankar Lal Concert Hall Witnessed Strength Showcase In Jerai Strongman And Jerai Classic Competitions

New Delhi,July 27, 2015

Jerai, India’s largest gym equipment manufacturer, in association with BodyPower India, Asia's largest sport, fitness and nutrition trade exhibition, set to attract over 30,000+ visitors in 2016 organized Jerai Strongman and Jerai Classic North Competition at Sir Shankar Lal Auditorium, Delhi.The event witnessed long queues of fitness enthusiasts and body builders from across the country waiting hours before the event even began.Labelled an outright success on the social media for the 1st JERAI CLASSIC held in March 2015 at Bodypower Expo, the second season was greeted with high levels of enthusiasm.

Jerai Strongman competition,a power-pack showcase of strength where youth were competing with each other in various strength based activities, began at10.30 amand lasted seven hours. The activities included mini truck pulling, car lifting, heavy sandbag walk,deadlifting and squatting around 500 Lbs.

Jerai Classic North, which began right after Jerai Strongman competition, hadbodybuilders invited by Indian Body Building Federation (IBBF) from North India competing for a common objective of getting selected for the mega event Jerai Classic at BodyPower Expo 2016, Mumbai. Both the events gathered a lot of roar from the crowd which encouraged the competitors in their respective activities.The Jerai Strongman competition was won by Mr Amit Singh in male category and his wife Mrs Purnima in female category. The couple was awarded with a Strongman trophy and Rs. 25000 cash prize each. Mr Borun Yumnam grabbed the winner trophy of Jerai Classic Bodybuilding competition and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 50000.
