Chandigarh, April 28, 2016
The first India Media Summit 2016, Chandigarh shall be hosted on 7th and 8th July at JW Marriott, Chandigarh. India Media Summit is an event for entire media industry to come at one platform. The idea for the show is to Connect-Explore-Achieve. As media is witnessing an ever growing list of options to advertise and market, there is an opportunity to educate/present the media options to the advertisers, agencies, brand managers, decisions makers and fellow colleagues in the industry. As the summit is scheduled in the beginning of second quarter of FY 16-17, it offers an opportunity for exhibitors to close annual deals and business in larger volumes. Chandigarh is a gateway to few of the richest states of the country.
"We are delighted with the response we already have received from media houses. It’s great to realize that no event with a similar thought happens in the country. We have a simple thought and that is to create an opportunity for media houses to speak directly with the buyers. While expo will house almost 40 media houses, we have a conference "Adialouges" where we shall deliberate different areas of media industry with the leaders of the trade via eight interactive sessions," says Lalit Sharma, Founder, Mantrin. Mantrin , a 15 years old Chandigarh-based Ad agency is organizing IMS-2016, Chandigarh.
"As an advertising agency I have been meeting numerous colleagues form National Market who would come visit us and a few clients and will always educate about "New" they have. We realized it to be an opportunity where media can come under one roof and educate advertisers. I firmly believe that an increased level of awareness shall translate into better business for everyone involved, “he adds.
