World-renowned footwear specialty store “The Athlete’s Foot” has stepped into India by opening their first store at Bangalore. The Athlete's Foot® is the world's first franchisor of athletic footwear and is recognized today as the world leader in athletic footwear franchising.

The Athlete’s Foot spread over 1000 sq. feet of space presents for the first time a ‘specialty sports shoe store” concept to Indian consumers that offers a complete range of internationally famous sports brands and footwear. The Athlete’s Foot focuses on the athletic and active (Athleisure) lifestyles of customers and caters to these lifestyles by providing an assortment of athletic, brown shoe and casual footwear. It offers value through the fundamental values of fit, comfort and performance.

The Athlete's Foot® store opened in 1971 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was the first athletic footwear specialty store of its kind in the United States. The first international franchise store opened in 1978 in Adelaide, Australia and today The Athlete's Foot® has expanded to over 600 stores into over 40 countries. The store will house brands like Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma. Also available will be Converse footwear, Speedo swimwear and their respective apparel and accessories. Wilson and Prince rackets and game accessories, Puma Cricket items are also some of the other brands, which will be available at the store.

Foot wears up to Rs.9000; apparels up to Rs.1200 and accessories up to Rs.1500 will be retailed at “The Athlete’s Foot”.
