Dettol, one of India’s most trusted brands today launched a brand new soap which is very “COOL”! The new Dettol COOL soap is enriched with menthol and delivers a cool refreshing sensation to boost & energize your senses, in addition to providing the trusted Dettol protection. To showcase its freshness, the soap comes in ‘light blue’ colour and has a new ‘fresh’ fragrance. Dettol COOL soap is priced at Rs 16 for 75g, while 125 gm is at Rs. 26 and is available nationally.
Speaking on the occasion Ms. Anne Engerant, Marketing Director Reckitt Benckiser said that, "Dettol is the leader in premium soaps market and is used by more than 21% of the population in urban India. In keeping with our promise of delivering exciting products to the consumer, Dettol has added to its range a soap specifically designed for the teens and the young at heart. This soap is clearly differentiated from others as it contains Menthol that delivers a burst of freshness that truly refreshes. Moreover, it is light-blue coloured and has a unique saddle shape.” She further added, “Dettol COOL soap was test marketed in Andhra Pradesh since January 2005 and we witnessed strong results there in terms of sales and market share.”

Dettol currently has two soap variants in the market – Dettol Original Soap and Dettol Skincare.
