Unveiling the ICICI Bank Gold American Express® card

ICICI Bank, India’s second largest bank and American Express, one of the world’s largest card issuers, today announced the launch of the “ICICI Bank Gold American Express Card” offering customers a powerful value proposition of enhanced rewards and superior international and domestic travel benefits.

The ICICI Bank Gold American Express Card comes with a comprehensive rewards programme that offers 5 I-miles (ICICI travel miles) for every Rs. 100 spent on the Card. The I-miles earned can be redeemed for points or vouchers from selected major airline partners’ frequent flyer programmes, namely Air Sahara Cosmos, Indian Airlines Flying Returns, Jet Airways Jet Privilege and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer. I-miles can also be redeemed for bookings made through Makemytrip.com. A discount of 4% on travel bookings and 5% on holiday packages is offered for bookings made via makemytrip.com. The Card also provides access to 5 airport lounges, comprehensive travel and medical insurance and purchase protection.

Additional features of the ICICI Bank Gold American Express Card are a 0% balance transfer offer for 90 days and a 0% interest rate on cash withdrawals for 30 days.

Cardmembers can also enjoy benefits of the global American Express network for services such as overseas emergency credit card services, overseas travel & medical assistance, and access to more than 2,200 Travel Service Offices worldwide to avail a full suite of dedicated and comprehensive travel services.

ICICI Bank and American Express came together in 2003 under an agreement that enables ICICI Bank to issue American Express branded cards that can be used on American Express’ global merchant network.
