Nike has launched the Total 90 Supremacy Boots in India. The salient points on Nike Total 90 Supremacy Boots are as follows:

Power and Accuracy

Its this combination that delivers the supreme precise shooting of Nike’s Total 90 Supremacy boot – a uniquely integrated football innovation from the ground up. It’s for players like powerhouses Wayne Rooney and Roberto Carlos who combine mobility, toughness, power and precision with a controlled and accurate strike, through all 90 minutes on the pitch.

The Total 90 Supremacy boot provides the player with a supremely designed outsole, which combines heel-to-toe precision, maximum traction and comfort. It’s boot-to-ball accuracy derived from a new side-lacing system that provides a cleaner strike. And it’s all integrated into a lightweight boot that enhances precise powerful shooting, dribbling and passing, all helping to put the ball in the back of the net.

The Total 90 Supremacy boot will be available in Varsity Blue / White / Metallic Silver (6/1), and White / Black / Sport Red (6/1), and Black / Metallic Gold (6/1). Wayne Rooney’s colorway, Metallic Platinum / Black / Sport Red, is available 7/1.

Outsole

The Total 90 Supremacy outsole offers a truly innovative motion control system that deftly provides a balanced weight transfer from heel to toe. At the heel strike, oblong- shaped heel studs dig in to provide optimal penetration with the ground. In the transition, Nike’s asym-metric Interweave spinal bars effectively stabilize the foot by minimizing its roll-in motion. At toe-off, symmetrical conical studs help more evenly distribute body weight and reduce stud pressure, while providing maximum traction.

Nike Zoom Air Unit

Integrated into the Total 90 Supremacy insole is a Zoom Air unit in the heel. It provides ex-cellent low-profile cushioning and protection in the area of maximum impact.

Sockliner

The Total 90 Supremacy sockliner integrates critical features that provide great fit, comfort, and feel with improved arch and heel support, state of the art materials and design. These fea-tures include firmer density materials in the heel for stabilization. To help absorb foot-pounding shock, Nike added an EVA second density in the sockliner, which is made from softer foam, placed anatomically under the first and second metatarsal heads in the forefoot – the place on the foot that is the second highest area of impact forces. The entire sockliner is contoured to mirror the underside of the foot, providing support and comfort from heel to toe.

Heel Package

The low-profile molded foam heel package and improved external heel counter cups stabi-lizes the foot for a high-performance fit. At the back of the heel there is also a unique person-alization opportunity with country flags and squad numbers. World Football ’06 Personal-ization Packs will be available at retail for countries including Brasil, England, the U.S., Ko-rea, Japan and many more. Stickers can be applied to the specially designed heel area to show allegiance and support.

Upper

Nike combines its lightweight synthetic leather upper material, which provides durability and a superior shape-holding fit. In addition, it offers a unique off-center lacing system that fea-tures a new molded-eyelet design and an integrated tongue construction that eliminates a layer, for superior ball feel. The upper’s clean, quilted finish provides protection and comfort for improved ball-handling accuracy and cleaner strike zone on the foot.
