Tale of 10 Cities: Awegust executes Realme X Launch Event

AweGust won the mandate over a multi-agency pitch to create an innovative and interactive on-ground launch campaign for the mobile giant, RealMe India. Awegust is an experiential marketing and Events Company which is slowly creating a niche for itself. The on ground launch campaign was to be executed across 10 cities across India for two days, 3rd and 4th of August. The Cities included Mumbai, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Ranchi, Ratlam, Lucknow, Kolkatta and Ahmedabad . The brand wanted to launch Realme X in the top stores in each city. The brief was to go big with highlighting top features of the new phone and deriving sales. Interactive and Innovative ideas were discussed to bring the phone features to the audience in a smart and slick way.

He goes on "Generally, you’ll be expected to be communicative, present and skilled at what you do. However, meeting those standards simply means you’re a basic contender. Instead, it’s those gestures that go the extra mile that solidify your value and keep clients coming back for more."

Keeping this in mind Awegust finalized their plan for the launch event.

The turnaround time for the entire event was exceptionally challenging. There were a lot of logistics to be taken care of before the D day. Knowing the audience in each of these locations was the next step. The activities were decided after the regional flavor of each cities. Generating curiosity and engagement and translating that into sale was the main endeavor. The key was to have an eye for the smallest details during the execution.

The day of the launch was a great success with immense participation from the audience in all the cities. All the merchandise and interactive games were very well received. The goal of making the audience aware about the phone and its many features was achieved. Audience was really excited to find out what different the new phone had to offer. In some cities there was great participation despite heavy rains. Aman Goyal “It doesn’t always have to be big, bright and shiny. It can be very simple .I think that’s sometimes one of the things that gets overlooked when you’re producing experiences for people.”

The two day activation went on smoothly without a hitch .It was a huge win for Awegust and a feather in the cap.
