Dainik Bhaskar to expand in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh

As Ujjain prepares for the holy event of Maha Kumb in 2004, Dainik Bhaskar gears up to cover the event in its best spirit.

The Dainik Bhaskar management has installed a new printing facility in the region with the view to bringing the latest news to the residents of Ujjain. The group has invested Rs 20 lakh in setting up the unit. The Malwa belt of Madhya Pradesh is significant for its history and culture. Ujjain, which is an important pilgrimage centre in central India, is also known for its rich reserve of cash crops. Therefore, Bhaskar feels the need for daily coverage of the events in Ujjain.

Currently as many 55,000 copies of the paper are distributed in the Ujjain division. With this new printing facility, the Dainik Bhaskar management hopes of increase the circulation by another 20,000 copies.
