Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, India’s hottest radio station, has released their new TV advertising campaign. The campaign takes forward the brand message of ‘Mirchi Sunnewale Always Khush’.

According to Prashant Panday, Deputy CEO, Radio Mirchi, “The new commercial is a continuation of Radio Mirchi’s overall campaign wherein we have tried to take forward our brand proposition of being in a state of happiness. Today consumers identify the brand with a state of happiness.”

He added, “We will be continuing our mass media campaigns for the next five to six months and will continue our print and outdoor activities,"

The TV ad begins with a car being stopped at a police check post and the driver being asked to open the back of the car. The police are stunned to see a man trapped in the back of the car – apparently kidnapped, but singing happily inspite of being held against his wishes.

The campaign will run nationally across major satellite channels in prime time slots until the middle of July 2007.
