MTV to organise 2004 Asia Awards on February 14

Valentine's Day next year will witness the biggest pan-Asian music awards, namely, the MTV Asia Awards, which be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The central theme of the awards is love in keeping with the spirit of Valentine's Day, and artistes to perform on the occasion will include the talented Dido, nominated in the category of Favourite Female Artist.

Of the 19 categories comprising the awards, 16 are competitive in nature while the balance three, that is, the Asian Film Award, Style Award and Inspiration Award, will be presented by MTV to key industry figures and trendsetters in recognition of their work.

Viewers can vote for their favourite artiste via email, snail mail or SMS and win exclusive prizes. Votes can be cast between November 15 and January 15, next year.
