BIG 92.7 FM becomes exclusive radio partner for the Kollywood film ‘TAMIL MA’

BIG 92.7 FM, Chennai announces its exclusive Radio partnership with the upcoming and much looked forward to Kollywood movie ‘TAMIL MA’. The movie features famous actor Jeeva and newcomer Anjali, directed by debutante director Ram, who is the assistant of legendry film maker Balu Mahendra. September 7th 2007 saw the exclusive premiere of the music album on BIG 92.7 FM’s Breakfast show – BIG Vanakkam, with RJ Speed Dheena. BIG Vanakkam also featured exclusive interview with Actor Jeeva today.

BIG 92.7 FM has exhaustive on-air plans for the BIG premiere promotion in order create unprecedented buzz around the movie. The Station began a 6-day build up of the music of “TAMIL MA” starting today prior to the premiere of the music album. Starting today each song from the album will first be heard exclusively on BIG 92.7 FM. BIG FM will also broadcast interesting trivia about the movie and will also air exclusive radio edits of the movie

Apart from actor Jeeva’s interview, the Station will feature interviews of the movie crew like actress Anjali, Director Ram, and playback singer Shankar Mahadevan during the music premiere. The movie crew will share their experience while shooting and extensively about the making of the film and their experiences while shooting. BIG 92.7 FM will also air interesting on-air contests where listeners will get a chance to win cool gifts and to interact with the stars.

TAMIL MA is about a middle class youth, played by Jeeva whose interest for Tamil language makes him pursue his graduation degree in Tamil but post his graduation he comes to know that the society looks down upon him as he is not a graduate in English medium. The movie is about his struggles to lead a normal life. The movie stress on the fact of being a Tamilian loving his mother tongue in spite of having a modern outlook to life & speaking mostly in English.
