ZEE Telefilms plans to launch a religious channel reportedly with the name Jaagaran. The channel would be beamed via Asiasat 3S and INSAT satellites. While the date of the launch is not clear, looks like the channel would be unveiled this month itself.
Once launched Jaagaran will the join the extended family of religious channels currently on air. These include Aastha, CMM, Sanskar, etc (which shows Gurbani live from the Golden temple in Amritsar) and an English channel- Miraclenet.
