Star Utsav brings for its viewers an intense love story Kavyanjali, in the 9.00 pm prime–time band, every Mon-Thurs starting Sept.17th.

One of the biggest mega daily shows of television Kavyanjali is a poignant love story which will present Bollywood’s renowned actresses Amrita Singh (playing the character of Nitya Nanda in the show) on the small screen. A Balaji Telefilm’s production Kavyanjali is mounted on a huge canvas almost like some of the memorable blockbuster love stories made in Bollywood that have won young hearts all over.

A story of Kavya, the only son of late Mayank Nanda and his charming wife Nitya Nanda (played by Amrita Singh), who is the heir to the Nanda Industries. Kavya returns to India from the US after 10 years. On the day he lands in Shimla, a stranger offers to give him a ride in the frosty darkness of the night. A moment’s glance at her face and he falls in love at the first sight, itself. They meet, talk and also confess their love for each other. Then one day right in front of his eyes he sees the girl meet with a terrible accident…In a state of shock and disbelief he is still in search of that face, the face of his dreams, and this marks the beginning of an epic love story.

Kavyanjali- the story of - Kavya played by newcomer Rakshat Sawhney & Anjali played by Natassha/Anita Hansanadani (from ‘Kuuch To Hai’ and ‘Krishna Cottage’ fame) is a show of two lovers and their undying commitment…. love so intense, so evocating that it stays in the hearts forever, with a desire to be loved, to be wanted!

Amrita Singh plays the character of widow wife Nitya Nanda (kavya’s mother), who is a strong force in Kavya’s life. With its starry line up, the cast of the show includes veteran’s like: Achla Sachdev, Vidya Sinha, Nirmal Pandey and Shushmita Mukerjee. Directed by Anil V. Kumar; he is the name to reckon with some of television’s highly successful shows like: Kaahin Kissii Roz, Kahiin To Hoga and many more.
