BIG 92.7 FM, Surat to celebrate Navratri in a BIG way

Living upto its brand line of Suno Sunao Life Banao! BIG 92.7 FM, Surat’s No.1 FM Station, is all set to add colours to the Navratri revelry in the city through fun-filled on-air and on-ground activities. The station has tied up exclusively with Shreeji Enterprise, Surat’s biggest garba group and will be airing all the excitement at the Indoor Stadium from 9 pm to 1 am throughout Navratri. A Big Booth will be placed inside the stadium from where celebrities, organizers and winners of different competitions shall get a chance to go on-air.

During the breaks, BIG 92.7 FM team shall play Tongue Twister on stage with couples. Besides, BIG 92.7 FM, shall also give out prizes to Best Group Garba, Best Dressed Girl/Boy, Best Performance by a couple, Best Performance by Senior Citizen, Best Performance by a Child and Most Energetic Perfomer. To up the glamour quotient of this

most-awaited event of the year, BIG 92.7 FM shall also install tattoo booths at the venue for revelers who want to get a body tattoo designed.

A BIG Mirror will be put up at the entrance for self-admirers so that they can enter the venue wearing their best look. A video camera fitted on the mirror shall record them getting into the act of pampering themselves and the video shall be posted on www.big927fm.com Pictures of garba groups from the venue and videos shall also be posted on the website and listeners will be asked to visit the site and vote for their favorite picture.

On-air programmes designed for Navratri, will have interviews with celebrities performing at Indoor Stadium, debutant Garba troupes, RJ talk on fashion tips, style check and modern garba attires. The early morning show Sehar will play live Aarti, Stuti and Navchandi Path from Ambika Niketan temple. The BIG Chai will talk about the nine avatars of Goddess Amba and provide interesting information about the history of city’s oldest temples.

BIG 92.7 FM will bring alive the Durga Puja festivities by conducting on-ground competitions Shonkho Dhoni (Conch Shell Blowing), Dhunuchi Naach, Noibiddo Shajano (Arranging offerings to Maa Durga) and Antakshari competition.The popular show Chal Kalti Maar shall be conducted from the Bhog venue and on Ashtami, Pushpanjali shall be taken live to the listeners in Surat. The winners of these contests will receive goodie bags from BIG 92.7 FM in addition to sponsored prizes.

On Dussehra, BIG 92.7 FM Surat shall gift a two-wheeler to the listener who sends in maximum number of SMSes to 55454 during the BIG Chai, all throughout 10 days.
