Divya Bhaskar to launch Surat edition on March 27

After Ahmedabad, Divya Bhaskar is set to foray into Surat with a new edition on March 27, 2004. A prepared note from the company maintains that pre-launch order bookings are in the region of 3-lakh plus - a healthy count to begin with.

The group has commenced with the activity of booking ad space as well, with a special package created for advertisers. The day of launch, that is, March 27, will see the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, as the guest-of-honour at a special event celebrating the occasion, while Kanshiram Rana, Union Minister for Rural Development, will preside over the function.

Other dignitaries who will grace the occasion include Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Haryana.
