Media agencies Starcom and MediaCom will pitch for the business of Hungama TV, promoted by UTV. The two agencies were shortlisted on the basis of their credentials and experience in the kids' genre, says Hungama COO, Purnendu Bose. "Hungama TV is the only kids' brand that is truly of, for and by the kids, and the media and communications partners should be able to combine out-of-box thinking with strategic thinking when communicating with kids, says Bose.
Hungama has also shortlisted agencies for the advertising part of the business including JWT and Lowe India. Targeted at the 4-15 age-group, Hungama has plans to create separate time bands for children of different age-groups.
