TinselVision™, a premium online video-on-demand (VoD) destination serving South Asian entertainment fans outside the Indian subcontinent, announced two major deals with B4U and Shemaroo. With this TinselVision will offer about 500 hours of Indian and Bollywood music videos and programming from B4U Music; while through Shemaroo it will offer a catalog of more then 1,000 premium movies.
B4U currently delivers Bollywood music videos, “Indipop,” and music programming over nearly 10 different satellites to audiences in more than 100 countries including the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Canada and India. B4U Network and their B4U Music division are, by all measures, at the forefront of the Indian music broadcasting industry. The deal with TinselVision provides yet another premium television network content provider with potentially huge opportunities for new online audiences and increased overseas receipts.
The partnership with Shemaroo brings in considerable value for both the parties, complementing TinselVision’s potentially massive online audience with Shemaroo Entertainment’s large library of quality Indian Content. Through the terms of the agreement, TinselVision has obtained non – exclusive license to distribute, via its online service, about 100 premium Shemaroo movies including recent releases - Naya Daur, Dhamaal and the award winning Manorama Six Feet Under.

The partnership with Shemaroo, which will later expand beyond the initial 100 film deal, was negotiated by Saad Shervani, TinselVision's Vice President of Content and Jai Maroo, Director, Shemaroo Entertainment.

The deals with B4U and Shemaroo marks TinselVision’s five major deal to bring content from India’s top movie producers and music houses entertainment to the Web, following its tie-ups with Zee Entertainment Enterprises’ Zee TV and News Corp’s STAR India.

TinselVision will announce additional content agreements in the coming days as the US-based Indian-centric venture prepares for its beta services premier and exclusive launch party in Bollywood.
