This newest Channel in the Hindi news space will serve people with a bouquet of serious news and compelling programming; reaching even the remote villages.

India News will champion issues concerning the under privileged people of the society who are hardly in the news. “PAL- PAL KHABAR”, news moment-by-moment as it unfolds is the motto of INDIA NEWS.

Kartikeya Sharma, a young visionary from Oxford, who has spent considerable time in studying, national and international media, heads the vibrant ITV group, which has lined up the launch of an English News Channel, Bhojpuri Channel, a Music Channel, FM radio besides an English daily and a Magazine. The group is presently publishing a Hindi weekly, India News and a Hindi daily, Aaj Samaj.

The strength of India News is its qualified journalists and technical personnel and state of the art technology.

The associates of the channel are from diverse verticals, well established and recognized names in their respective fields – social activism to politics, defence and education.

Javed Akthar, who needs no introduction, Mark Tully, a house-hold name in India for years as the voice of BBC, and a recipient of Order of British Empire (OBE) and Padma Sri, Satish Jacob, a broadcast journalist of repute, who has carved out a niche in the print world and authored several books on social issues, Madhurendra Sinha, a popular journalist, and other top guns will pop up on India News with their incisive comments and make the nuances of even a complex issue easy to understand.

ITV group is also introducing fresh and yet experienced faces to the Hindi news screen.

Veteran journalist, Harish Gupta, is the Editor –in-Chief and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He brings to INDIA NEWS his vast experience as a leading media personality. He had moulded news channels like JANMAT as a platform where people’s concerns and aspirations are articulated without inhibitions and where politicians of all hues are grilled without fear or favour.

India News has studios at strategic locations across the country and several studios on the wheel to bring live coverage. It has 11 studios; Mumbai will be the second big hub with facilities, equivalent to Delhi.

India News has carefully designed exclusive programs, to suit diverse needs of its target audience. Its programs will not only be entertaining and but highly informative. The programme mix Channel has programs like Vishes, dealing with crucial issues and examining them threadbare.
