Rajeev K Jha has joined Deshonnati, the flagship brand of Vidarbha Publications Pvt. Ltd, as General Manager, North, South and East, responsible for generating ad revenue from these regions. He would also be providing strategic support to the group in its various marketing initiatives in Vidarbha, Marathwada and Khandesh region where the daily has its circulation footprint. Mr. Jha would be reporting to Mr. Prakash G. Pohare, CMD & Editor-in-chief.

Rajeev has earlier served Tehelka as its General Manager-North. He was also associated with The Indian Express, Lokmat, Dainik Jagran and The Asian Age. His long stint with Lokmat group of publication would also come handy in representing Deshonnati as this daily is also based in the same region as Lokmat. Rajeev is confident of his deliveries. “Deshonnati has an unsurpassed respect within Maharashtra, especially in Vidarbha, and Mr. Prakash Pohare enjoys a great respect within the readers’ fraternity for his journalistic integrity and non- politically inclined policy”, says Rajeev.

With its 11 editions from Vidarbha, Marathwada and Khandesh at present, Deshonnati serves as strong No. 2 option for all product categories. Vidarbha is being eyed as a hot destination.
