What dark secrets lie behind the well-manicured front lawns of Wisteria Lane? Murder? Suicide? Adultery? Find out as a brand new season of Desperate Housewives premieres on STAR WORLD on July 13, at 10 p.m.

Entering its dramatic and star-studded fourth season, the multi-award winning series will expose more secrets of 4 women whose lives are anything but idyllic. As a new emotional turmoil brews in the circle of girlfriends, the housewives are now also joined by several new neighbours, who bring with them a whole lot more mystery and gossip. Says the show creator Marc Cherry, “In every single episode, something big will happen! This season is going to be one of the most intriguing yet!”

Leading the Housewives' new wave is Dana Delaney as Katherine Mayfair, a Wisteria Lane resident who has returned to the neighborhood 12 years after she fled under mysterious circumstances. Katherine claims to have returned to Wisteria Lane to take care of her dying aunt Lillian, but private conversations suggest something more scandalous and it soon becomes apparent that every member of the Mayfair family is hiding a sinister secret. Delaney who a big fan of her new character and the intrigue surrounding her, says; "What I like about Katherine is that she is not entirely evil. As the season progresses, you get a sense that there's a reason why she's different from how she was 12 years ago."

After agreeing to run away with Carlos on her wedding night to Victor, Gabrielle gets a call from him, informing her that Edie has tried to commit suicide. Meanwhile, Lynette tries to hide the fact that she has cancer from everyone, despite the fact she has no hair. Bree continues to hide the fact that her daughter is illegitimately pregnant by pretending to be pregnant herself. An old friend of Susan's, named Katherine Mayfair, moves back onto Wisteria Lane along with her new gynecologist husband, Adam Mayfair, and Katherine’s teenage daughter Dylan, all of whom have more secrets to hide.
