9X is all poised to celebrate Lord Krishna’s entry on the mega epic series - Kahaani Hamaaray Mahabharat Ki on Wednesday 30th July at 9 pm. The channel will also air a special episode on Tuesday 29th July, at 11.30 pm to coincide with the actual birth time of Lord Krishna; who was born at 12 am on a Wednesday.

Ekta Kapoor, who is a strong believer and a big devotee of Lord Krishna, and 9X, have left no stone unturned to find the perfect baby to play the role of the infant Lord Krishna. It is said that Ekta had deputed a large team from the production department to find out details about kids who were born last year on the day of Krishna Janam, i.e. Janamashtami. The team, which went on this mission five months back, collected a list of over 150 infants who were born on last ‘Janmashtami’. From these 150-plus kids, 25 kids were shortlisted, and their kundalis were checked by a team of 7 distinguished astrologers who were specially flown in from various parts of India. These astrologers further picked the perfect two kundalis, and incidentally, the lucky kid who was chosen for this sacred role shares one more thing with Lord Krishna besides the birthday -- the selected infant is also named Krish.

If so much effort has gone into just selecting the little infant who will play the role of the infant Lord Krishna, one can imagine the scale and grandeur of the entire Krishna Janam that 9X and Ekta will depict on the mega series.

So catch the entry of Lord Krishna on Kahaani Hamaaray Mahabharat Ki on Wednesday 30th July at 9 pm, only on 9X.
