The first and number one FM of North Bengal and Sikkim Radio Misty 94.3 FM have started a unique theme to connect people on Independence Day.

The theme show titled 'Mere Sapno ka Bharat' will be on air on 15th August 2008. Promotions for the show are being done on air and with ground activities.

Speaking on launch of this theme show Chief Executive Officer of Radio Misty Nishant Mittal said that Radio Misty always believes in new and innovative themes and had started with new ideas to connect its listeners.In this show people will be asked to tell about what is there dream about the India(Mere Sapno ka Bharat). Five best answers will be taken on air. Winners will be awarded with prizes.

Mr. Mittal said a lot of hype is being created on this theme show with ground activities where Radio Jockeys will be stationed in major towns in North Bengal and Sikkim. Where live on-air sessions will be held. Apart from this, a local Kavi Sammelan will be held at Radio Misty studio in Siliguri, where eminent poets will be invited. On Independence Day freedom fighters will be invited on all shows to share there views.

With its tagline gungunate raho Radio Misty in a short span of just 8 months have developed new ideas and shows to make radio har pal ka saathi to people.
