FILMY has always showcased the best of the movies for its viewers in its extremely popular property Saturday Blockbuster. This Saturday the weekend gets even more interesting as FILMY brings to you Bollywood’s Romeo and Juliet version – Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (QSQT) on September 6, 2008 only on FILMY.

QSQT is a movie on the love story between the two youngsters who hail from two rival families. The families are against the love which forces the lovers to elope and have a brief interval of happiness before retribution strikes.

Few are aware that Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan did a cameo role in the movie whereas Aamir’s lady love in the movie was actually going to act for B. R. Chopra’s ‘Mahabharat’. Juhi Chawla had bagged the role of Draupadi in Mahabharat and was about to sign the contract. But then, Juhi signed Nasir and did not opt for Mahabharat to create a new chapter in the history of Indian cinema.

Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, creation of veteran producer/director Nasir Hussain won the hearts of millions of people. But Nasir, himself was unsure how the audience would react to the tragic ending and therefore shot an alternate happy ending as well. Nasir consulted people he knew and much to his surprise there was a difference of opinion between the mature audience and the youngsters. But in the end Nasir choose the youngsters view and went ahead with it.
