ETC Music gets a channel share of 59 per cent

Mekaal Hasan Band show on ETC Music garnered a channel share of 59 per cent in Hindi speaking markets. According to TAM, on Friday January 14, 2005 in Hindi Speaking markets (From 21:02 hours to 22:27 hours-Telecast time of the show. 15 minutes + ) ETC has channel share of 59 per cent while MTV has 4 per cent, Zee Music has 37 per cent channel share and B4U and Channel are showing 0 per cent channel share.

Mekaal Hassan and his group of five musicians had performed in Mumbai on Friday January 7, 2005 to an almost packed Shanmukhananda Hall. This show was telecast on ETC Music on Friday 14 January, 2005 from 9.00 Pm (21 hours) onwards. Mekaal Hasan and his band had come to Mumbai to perform on insistence of ETC Music.

Till now ETC has successfully done many events with musicians like Shankar Mahadevan, Malkit Singh, Sukhvinder, Dr L Subramanian, Kailash Kher, Indian Ocean, Sunidhi Chouhan, Remo, Fuzon, Abhijit and many more. Presenting The Mekaal Hasan Band was yet another step towards achieving that very goal
