POGO launches a brand new season of the exciting Quiz Show ‘Skatoony’

Riding on the huge success of ‘Skatoony’, India’s favourite kids’ channel, POGO launches a brand new season of this exciting quiz show on September 21, 2008 and will be on air every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. In line with POGO’s endeavour to diversify its bouquet of original productions, ‘Skatoony’ is the only quiz show in the world where children compete with cartoon characters for real prizes. The all new action packed ‘Skatoony’ is smarter, funnier and wackier.

Fusing live-action with animation, it is the first-of-a-kind POGO original series. The series was first produced in the UK, and has been re-imagined for India by Miditech India Pvt Ltd. Each ‘Skatoony’ episode comprises of four rapid fire rounds and the winner receives a Sony Playstation 3. In every episode, three kids compete with three toons in a ‘cartoon world’ where besides these three kids, everyone and everything including the host, the participant, and the audience is animated. The questions asked in each round are an interesting mix of knowledge and humour and are extremely relevant for kids. The show has two hosts, Chak Chakachak – the quizmaster, and Jimmy Kundu, his best friend and the coolest entertainer ever.
