Kamal Gianchandani, COO, BIGFlix.com has a wider portfolio as Head, BIG Pictures Distribution

Kamal Gianchandani has been at the helm of operations at BIGFlix.com as the Chief Operating Officer, Reliance Entertainment (Home Entertainment) since November, 2006.

Prior to joining Reliance ADA Group, Kamal was working as the COO (Pictures) of PVR Pictures Ltd and headed the film distribution business. He was responsible for acquisition and exploitation of Hollywood and Indian films besides being actively involved in the formation and expansion of the company’s film production business. He was involved as a core team member in the two film production deal with Aamir Khan Production Pvt Ltd.

Prior to that as the Business Head - Cinemas for E-City Entertainment (I) Pvt Ltd he was involved in project planning and management of their multiplexes besides setting up the day to day operations. In his 1st stint at PVR, he was involved in their multiplex business from it’s inception in 1995 and worked across functions such as Operations, Business Development & Project Management, in various capacities.

Kamal graduated with Honours in Commerce from Hindu College, Delhi University and pursued his MBA (Finance) from Institute of Management Education, Pune University.
