This December , UTV World Movies unveils Europe’s most successful and popular dynamic television series ever – Alarm for Cobra 11. This BIG BUDGET high octane action packed series is Germany’s longest running television series about a two man team of highway COPS police, originally set in Berlin later in North Rhine-Westphalia. The series has also been SUCCESSFUL in Hungary, Italy, Spain and Turkey. Taking Europe by storm when it was first launched in 1996, 12 years later, Alarm for Cobra 11 is still the most ardently watched action series comprising eexciting, fast paced, dangerous criminal cases, a dashing likeable team and spectacular first rated action sequences.

Best known for its extremely well shoroegraphed done stunts, the highlight of the show is features the destruction of various vehicles in every episode. Each episode opens with has a distinct structure with at least one daring action sequence and the pre-title sequence usually consisting of the main event (i.e.: a devastating crash on the autobahn). These breathtaking stunts do not look out of place in a full-fledged movie, with cars commonly reaching implausible heights as they vault through the air makes the series a must watch for every action fan. Each 45 minutes episode costs a whopping million dollars to produce as the autobahn is shut down for weekends during production and very often 16 cameras are used for one single action sequence.
