The diamond acquired its unique status as the ultimate gift of love way back in the fifteenth century. Even today it is looked upon as a talisman or a charm that could enhance the love of a husband for his wife. RADIO MIRCHI 98.3 FM, a firm believer of strengthening relationships with its listeners, embarked on a special ‘ Mirchi Diamond Hunt’ earlier this week.
The Radio Mirchi Diamond hunt allows people to participate in a daily hunt for diamonds till February 26, 2005 at selected BPCL petrol pumps and service stations. All the Radio Mirchi listeners and visitors to the outlet are eligible to participate in the hunt on purchase of speed, premium petrol for a minimum denomination of Rs. 1000/- for cars and Rs. 250/- for two wheelers. The participant gets a chance to try his / her luck and win a diamond by searching for the stone in a large sand box taken around the city by the Radio Mirchi team. The contestant has to search for his dream stone within 3 minutes. Winners are keepers of course. The box is filled with diamonds of various shapes and sizes and if the box runs out of diamonds it is replenished immediately.
