UTVi presents a special series ‘Eye on the Year’

As the curtain comes down on a year of sweeping changes, UTVi presents a

special series- ‘Eye on the Year’. The series focuses on the year that has been a turning point in more ways than one. 2008 saw every major economy across the world hurtling from one crisis to another. This year also witnessed the bankruptcy of some of the biggest financial institutions of our times leaving the global economy in an unforeseen crisis of magnanimous proportions.

Keeping all this in mind UTVi presents an interesting 3 part series which will inspect and evaluate the different aspects of change through the year and ofcourse its impact on the year to come. In the first episode on December 20th UTVi brings to its viewers a discussion with renowned British economist, writer and labour politician, Lord Meghnad Desai on some of these historic events of the past year that has affected the entire world. The discussion will also lead to ideas of how the events of 2008 will mould the New Year- for the better or for the worse.
