Celebrate Christmas and bring in the New Year 2009 with IBN7

To mark the celebration of Christmas and New Year IBN7, India's leading Hindi

news channel, is coming up with an array of special programming that will entertain the viewer this festive season. Starting from 24th December, the programming will have a mix of shows ranging from Bollywood gossip to laughter shows, from musical evening with the Indian Idol contestants to famous small screen child artists.

With an engaging line-up, IBN7 hopes to provide its viewers an entertaining festive TV experience. Some of the major segments comprise of a mix of Bollywood talks, entertainment, musical and humorous shows:

* Director's Cut, Aamir - Aamir Khan will talk about the upcoming release Ghajini and his rival Shahrukh Khan in this 1-hour studio based show, hosted by the ever-candid host Richa Anirudh. The show will be aired on 24th Dec at 8 pm.

* Indian Idol (Christmas Special) - A musical and fun-filled 30-min special with the Indian Idol contestants singing on the occasion of Christmas. Catch this special program on 25th December evening.

* Zindagi LIVE - Amazing Kids – The special episode will feature kids who have set world records at a very tender age and have got themselves registered in Guinness book of world records. The special program will be aired on 28th Dec at 8 pm.

* Hanstey Hanstey – A must watch for all the comedy lovers as this show will wrap up all special episodes of some of its hallmark shows and provide the viewers with fun filled one hour comic package. Special show will telecast on 31st December at 10 pm and on 1st Jan at 10 am.

* Indian Idol Special - A special one hour musical show will feature the Indian Idol contestants humming their favorite songs, share their on-stage experience & talk about the show, the judges, their future plans and much more. This will be aired on 31st December evening

* Zindagi LIVE - Balika Vadhu special– This special episodes will bring the most popular child stars on Indian Television today, Balika Vadhu's - Anandi and her on-screen husband – Jagdish. The show will bring forth their real lives, their parents, school, teachers, friends etc, the "Zindagi LIVE" way with the ever candid host Richa Anirudh. Catch this special show on 4th January 2009 at 8 pm.
