Disney Channel launches 'The Suite Life on Deck'

Disney Channel brings the newest live-action series ‘The Suite Life on Deck’ starting January 30 every Friday at 5.30 PM. An offshoot of Disney Channel’s hit Emmy-nominated series ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’, ‘The Suite Life on Deck’ follows the twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin and hotel heiress London Tipton after they enroll in a semester-at-sea program on the SS Tipton. With the chagrin, dutiful hotel manager Mr. Moseby goes aboard too, assuming responsibility for all three.

Reprising their roles are tween favorites Dylan and Cole Sprouse as Zack and Cody Martin, Brenda Song as London Tipton and Phill Lewis as Mr. Moseby. With Zack and Cody living away from home for the first time, viewers will be watching them turn into mature young men.  But even with their newfound independence and responsibility, they will still find ways to cause giant disasters. For the first time, London has to get used to being treated like everyone else. Not only does she have to live in a room that’s smaller than her tiniest closet back home, she has to (gasp) share it with a roommate!

Bailey, the new entrant on the show is less worldly than London, but incredibly book smart and is thrilled to have the chance of a lifetime to travel the world. While Zack and Cody are smitten by her, she will be seen trying her best to stay focused on school work and do her best to survive sharing a room with London. Meanwhile, Mr. Moseby thinks he is free from the pesky twins when he leaves Boston to become manager of the Tipton’s flagship cruise liner. But he soon realizes that his bliss is over when Zack and Cody board the S.S. Tipton, to attend high school on the high seas.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody is a popular show on Disney Channel. The show established a number one position amongst older kids (CS 10-14 ABC) and in the primary slot amongst girls (CS females 4-14 ABC) in the kids genre. The Suite Life on Deck will take the popularity of its central characters Zack and Cody Martin to another level.
