Reiterating its commitment to bring the best of world cinema, UTV World Movies launches an ‘Iranian Film Festival’, in association with Digital Academy Film School and the Iranian Cultural Centre. This February 14th and 15th, UTV World Movies will take you on an exotic Iranian voyage and familiarize you with their culture. Launching the occasion in true Iranian style, Mr. Seyed Mirkarimi, renowned Iranian film maker along with Mr. Govind Nihalini and MR. Krishna Shah will do the honors of inaugurating this film festival.

Exhibiting the choicest of films, the festival will commence with the screening of two of the finest films from its library - “A Taste of Cherry” at 1.30 pm and “The Mirror” at 2.45 pm on February 14, 2009 and keeping up the momentum, two of Mr. Seyed Mirkarimi’s laudable movies “So Far, So Close” will be screened at 11 am and “Under the Moonlight” at 12.45 pm on February 15, 2009.
