Just 8 months back, Patrika entered in Madhya Pradesh and with a bang. On the basis of its quality journalism, it has shaken the newspaper market of the state is a matter of fact. Also the company has been immensely successful in establishing an instant connect with its readers. This is evident from the recent events conducted by Patrika in Bhopal and Indore.

“Amratam Jalam”, an initiative by Patrika, started in Bhopal during January, with the aim of reinstating the lost beauty of famous badi jheel of Bhopal. On 8th Feb 10,000 people volunteered for mass cleaning and the number grew to 20,000 individuals by 15th Feb on a single day. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, City Development Minister Babulal Gaur, Mayor Suneel Sood, Patrika Chief Editor Gulab Kothari, and other eminent people volunteered for the same. Many organizations also came forward and volunteered for the campaign. On 14th February, Patrika initiated a massive Narmada cleaning drive in Hoshangabad in presence of Shri Gulab Kothari. Besides Bhopal, Patrika also launch Amritam Jalam drive in Indore at Bijalpur village on 16th February. Thousands of villagers and students are volunteering for deepening the village lake.
It takes years and years for a newspaper to command such a response. But people turned out in huge numbers on the call of Patrika, this itself narrates the success tale of the company in Madhya Pradesh. Recently organized book fair in Indore was also a major hit in the city with an average of 50,000 daily footfalls in the 9-day event.
Patrika group has a history of corporate social responsibility since its inception. Amratam Jalam was started by Rajasthan Patrika in year 2005 in Rajasthan with the aim of cleaning & desilting traditional water reservoirs of the state. More than 5 lac. volunteers from all walks of life joined the movement.
One can make out easily, how Patrika is thriving on its response strength in the newly ventured state of Madhya Pradesh.
