The fearsome tale of ‘Devdasi’ revolves around a timid girl called ‘Kalki’, who is born with a terrifying destiny in her hands. With a destiny to be doomed for life, the horrid looking Bhujkaal, who is a devil worshipper, controls the strings of her life! Treating the poor child like a puppet, her life is at the stake of Bhujkaal as the man has charted out her future and believes that she is destined to be a ‘danavdasi’ for a lifetime. But as luck or fate would have it, she manages to escape his cult and regain her freedom However, the Devil has vowed that Kalki cannot her break out from her fate and is determined to get her back, even if it takes more than a lifetime to full fill it.
