Close on the heels of initiating the process of its re-branding as Zing, Zee Muzic announces the launch of its exciting new reality series, Cornetto Anchor Hunt, a nationwide search for 3 fresh faces that will go on to become anchors of new shows on Zee Muzic (Zing), ETC and Zee Trendz. Premiering on Zee Muzic (Zing) on Sunday, 19th April at 11:00 AM, the series will showcase the journeys of some very talented young women from being “just another pretty face in the crowd” to anchors on national television!

Adding spice to their joyride is the presence of eminent celebrity judges like Lubna Adam, Manasi Scott, Arjan Bajwa, Celina Jaitley and Tusshar Kapoor. Not only do the judges evaluate the young ladies but also mentor them to emerge as confident, charming anchors. Doubtlessly, the girls have a tough path on the show with grueling rounds such as premiere hosting, celebrity interviews, the teleprompter round, the impromptu round and a style quotient round amongst others.

While the reality series set out to search for faces not yet seen on Indian television, Cornetto Anchor Hunt also attracted a rather interesting, unlikely candidate in Bobby Darling. A regular on page 3 and a comedian in mainstream Bollywood films, Bobby Darling chose to leave behind his celebrity status and participate in the show.
With a whirlwind of celebrity judges, glamorous contestants, multiple rounds, the drama of elimination, here’s a fun show that’s making its way into Indian living rooms. Viewers can tune into Cornetto Anchor Hunt on Zee Muzic (Zing) at 11 AM and 7:30 PM every Sunday starting 19th April and on Zee Trendz at 10 PM every Monday starting 20th April.
