MITWA…Phool Kamal Ke is a story that’s never been shown before on Indian Television and traces the captivating love story of Bela (Tanvi Bhatia) and a Dalit boy, Birju (Mohit Malhotra). Bela personifies ‘innocence’ and is truly untouched by the world. Meanwhile, Birju has lived a life surrounded by hatred, caste inequality and tremendous sorrow. Bela is untouched by all such things, and the differences in their lives go on to become their deepest bond in life and death.
